Ms. Joette Hightower was appointed to fill Mr. Dick Philpott's vacant council seat March 16, 2009. Ms. Hightower is the new member of the Police Committee.

Waynesville's Government Reaching Out to You
We are looking to the citizens for their ideas, opinions and suggestions as we work together to make Waynesville a better place to live and learn. Also, we hope to provide our fellow citizens with easier access to information about the issues, challenges, and opportunities facing our village.
On this site, we will post information about actions taken by the Village Council as it strives to move the Village forward. This will include the issues as seen from all sides as well as the decisions made. Our hope is that this will result in a broader understanding of our village government and wider, more representative input from our citizens in the form of their suggestions, ideas, and their help.
We recommend that you visit this site regularly and submit your input often. We will atempt to be fair and balanced in presenting all sides of the issues and ask that those who post comments be generous with their praise and constructive with their criticism.
