I am hoping to sign up for these courses.

Waynesville Benefits from Greater Dayton Area Mayors and Manager's Association

While attending the March 11 Greater Dayton Area Mayors and Manager's Association meeting, I had the opportunity to speak with Don Spang, Executive Director of Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission, about the much needed repairs to the intersection of Route 42 and Route 73. I shared with Mr. Spang that Ron Maag, State Representative, Marty Heide, Director Of Special Projects And Warren County Outreach of Congressman Michael Turner's office were trying to help with the 42 and 73 project. After talking with Mr Sprang, I discovered that we had something incommon--, riding Harley Davidsons.

Mr. Spang said that he thought he could help Waynesville with this project. A few days later, I spoke with him again and he told me that he had made some calls. Next, I received a call from Mr. Smith's office from the State of Ohio Highway Department telling me that the State was making new plans to fix the problem at Routes 42 and 73.

The State will be repaving Route 73 East of 42 all the way to Clarksville Road and Route 73 West of 42 for an unspecified distance. The work is slated to begain in August.
